1. General Terms
These Terms of Service Agreement may be changed from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and your use of this Web Site after such changes have been posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms of Use and all of the changes.
2. Intellectual Properties
The materials located on this Web Site including the information and all materials are protected by copyright, trademark and other forms of proprietary rights. All rights, title and interest in the Contents are owned by, licensed to or controlled by myschoolteachers.com and myschoolteacher.com.sg
3. Service Commisson
myschoolteachers.com and myschoolteacher.com.sg charges a small one-time commission for each student recommended by us. We charge a standard market commission i.e. 50% of the first month's tuition fees. For instance if there are 4 lessons per month, we collect 2 lessons' fees and if there are 8 lessons per month, we collect 4 lessons' fees and so forth. On the second month onwards, no fees will be collected. Private home Tutors bring home 100% what they earn.
To prevent misuse of this service, myschoolteachers.com and myschoolteacher.com.sg reserves the right to impose a $50.00 administrative charge to either the parents or private home tutors whoever the ones who resulted in the cancellation of any tuition assignment that has been confirmed and finalised. In the event of incompletion of 1st month lessons, the tutors/teachers will not be paid their due fees if the lessons are terminated due to misconduct or problems caused by the tutors/teachers. The tutors / teachers are to warrant that they have registered their correct education background and credentials. Any incorrect information submitted will result in the termination of the tuition contract and fees will not be paid and will be forfeited. In the event of payment deposit/advance payment of commission, no refunds will be made if cancellation of the lesson is the results of parents' / students' termination, unfair requirements, cancellation of lessons and other possible reasons leading to the cease of the lesson.
4. Collection of Service Commission
Commission to our Consultancy is deducted from the agreed fees after the first lesson of the first month's lessons is completed. We will liaise with the student's side for payment. The student will pay 50% of the tuition fees to us and 50% to the private home tutor respectively for the first month only. For the subsequent months onwards, student pays the private home tutor 100% of the tuition fees.
Payment to us can be made by cheque or in cash. For cash payment, We will send our representatives to collect
5. E-Shop Payment Method & Shipping
For purchases of education items, please send payment through bank transfer to DBS Savings Plus Account no 070-0-003302. Items will be sent via normal post on the same day if payment is made before 3pm. Please help us to expedite the delivery by notifying us through phone/sms to 91090005 or email us at sales@myschoolteachers.com
6. Disclaimers
myschoolteachers.com and myschoolteacher.com.sg will not be responsible for conduct of any tutors online or offline. We assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or communications. Due to large number of tutors, myschoolteachers.com and myschoolteacher.com.sg will not be able to keep track of all content posted by tutors. In any case that you find a tutor's profile offensive, you may report an abuse of service to us. We only act in accordance to the instructions and agreement of the parents so should any problem arise after the successful transactual and verbal agreement, MYSCHOOLTEACHER will not be held resposible against claims, demands, actions, suits, losses, costs, charges, expenses, damages and liabilities.
myschoolteachers.com and myschoolteacher.com.sg will also not be responsible for any conflicts or disagreements that may arise between tutors and students.
